Gearing up for a new feature film: ‘The Barren Spring’. Pre-production is underway; I will be posting updates here as they occur. What can you do to help, you may ask? Well, we are looking to shoot this film in April, with a budget this time! I have set up a page at IndieGoGo where you can contribute to the funding for ‘The Barren Spring’. Not only do you get to be a part of the project, but you get some one of a kind gifts for pledging! Thanks for helping to bring this project to life!
Preproduction
Preproduction begins on a new untitled film. Google Sketchup is perfect for storyboards; there is even a special set of film components you can download that include ‘cameras’ which you can see through with specific ratio widescreen mattes. Add a plugin like IDX Renditioner for realistic lighting and rendering and you get not just a storyboard, but a reference for lighting as well!

Bushmate – The DVD!
Finally getting some loose ends tied up….Here’s the trailer for Bushmate: The Feature Length DVD!
Videotape
Here’s the new short film ‘Videotape’, presented in its entirety. The DVD is still coming along (despite the minor setback of my MacBook Pro dying tragically and suddenly); look for more info here soon!
Videotape+
More Videotape promos! Two 60 second teasers have been added to the main videotape page; check them out!
Videotape
Production on Videotape wrapped on August 21st; post-production is currently ongoing but should be finished within the week.
To hold you over, here’s the trailer!
The Dolly
Here’s a video showcasing the DIY dolly Matt Hatfield and I made. It’s a metal assembly which runs on PVC tubing for track.
location scouting
Here are some pictures from our recent location scouting session, in regards to the next short film:
Maybe I can create some sort of Cincinnati scavenger hunt to promote the film…

Etc Etc
So, it’s been a while, eh? I’ve got a new solo album that’s just finished the mastering process; look for a download plus art soon. Still working on the Bushmate DVD, slowly but surely, and I’ve got a short film in the works; hopefully I’ll have some behind the scenes footage to share once production starts.
Oh, and that new button at the top, at the end of the navigational bar? Why, that’s TipJoy! Just a little experiment, which may or may not stay. It’s a new micro-payment service, which allows you, the user, to tip me, the content creator. Once you tip, an account is instantaneously created for you, at which point you set up your payment option. The tip can be canceled, if you’ve either a: changed your mind after further reflection on said content, or b: accidentally hit the tip button a few times in haste, thinking it wasn’t working, as I did. Drop me an e-mail if you have trouble canceling a tip so I can help you out.
